"Viva Technology opened the world of business as it relates to engineering for me and also taught me the step by step process of marketing a product." - Asha J.
Viva Technology and Crystal Cunniff's presentation about upstream, midstream and downstream were great fall semester experiences for us. We loved Viva because it gave us a feel of the business and marketing side of engineering. We were able to collaborate with other students to complete a task. We worked together on our fall canned food drive, and participated in an interactive presentation with Ms. Cunniff, who is a drilling engineer with Cobalt International. Ms. Cunniff showed us how the value chain pieces fit together in the oil and gas industry. The IPAA / PESA experiences have been outstanding and we can't wait to use what we've learned to solve real world problems. We look forward to the future because we learn so much about engineering.
